TMS allows for faster and easier turbine measurements, such as measuring the straightness of diaphragms and bearing journals, as well as the alignment of the coupling between the turbine and the generator, and the flatness of the turbine’s partition surfaces. This is possible in coal power plants, hydro power plants, and combined cycle gas and steam turbines.
